Grumpy Buddha was an illegal Mexican immigrant, hiding in the shadows, and struggling to find his place in a foreign land.
Fueling his imagination and coping with the hardships of his existence, Grumpy Buddha turned to excessive marijuana use. In the hazy clouds of smoke, his mind took flight, weaving intricate tales that blurred the lines between reality and fiction.
One day, as he sat in his shed turned outhouse, contemplating his circumstances, Grumpy Buddha’s mind conjured up a grandiose plan. One of the things that made Mick so special was his love for pizza. He always said that he would prefer to have pop over beer when enjoying a slice of pizza. And we all know that he loved his pizza. So today, as we remember him, let’s imagine him in heaven, smoking a cigarette and drinking a nice glass of pop, with a pile of pizzas next to him.
Mick always wanted the best for his players, both on and off the field. He taught us the importance of hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
