Letter From Dad

My dearest Christopher,

Words seem to fall short when it comes to expressing my gratitude for all that you’ve been doing.  I know it hasn’t been easy managing everything – the writing, taking care of Mom and keeping in touch with friends. But you’ve handled it all with such maturity and grace, it fills me with immense pride.

Your dedication to this writing project is truly admirable. The way you’ve poured your heart and soul into it,  it makes me believe this will be something truly special.  I can’t wait to see the finished product and know that a part of me will live on through your words.

More importantly, though,  thank you for being there for your mother and our friends during this time.  Your support system has been invaluable,  and I know they all find immense comfort in your presence.  You are a true son, Christopher, and I am so lucky to have you.

Please take care of yourself amidst all this. Don’t neglect your own well-being. Remember,  I’m always here for you, no matter what.
