Letter from Dad
Hi Chris,
It’s Dad. I’ve been thinking about what to write, and I just want to say how proud I am of your progress. It’s heartening to see you getting better. Remember, I always told you to aim for getting your own place, a car, and a girlfriend.
Well, you’ve already got your own place—fantastic! Now, let’s work on the girlfriend and the car. Finding a good, used car doesn’t have to break the bank. You’re a skilled driver, so focus on getting a safe one. It doesn’t need to drive itself; your driving skills are more than enough.
I know you have excellent consulting skills. Consider using them to land a teaching job and helping lawyers with your expertise. You’ve got what it takes, just keep pushing forward. And remember, you’ve got my navy jeans to weather any storm.
Hold on to the connection with Padi, Patty, or Patricia—your mom loves you too.
Take care,
Dad
