Liberal verses Conservative

Really, I think most don’t know what it means to be conservative or liberal. Its not good verses evil. It is really those that want to preserve the status quo while maintaining a tight grip on all of our rights except gun control, and think the best economic system is found through trickle down economics (conservatives)–low taxes especially for the rich.

Liberals on the other hand believe in higher taxes, but also higher social welfare: universal healthcare, welfare, medicare…etc. They also believe that we are endowed with certain inalienable rights that the government is here to protect, although the right to have an automatic weapon is not one of them–neither is the right for a state to exchange a life for a life (capital punishment).

This is a broad summary of what it means to be liberal v. conservative. Keep in mind that over time it was the conservatives that opposed ending slavery, giving women the right to vote, equal rights, and now equal access to healthcare. You’ll see that the liberals will win the healthcare battle too! Its inevitable!
