Meet Al: The Man, The Myth, The Country Bumpkin

April 16, 2026

Let’s get one thing straight right out of the gate: His name is Al. That’s A-L. A guy. A human being with a pulse, a pair of scuffed-up boots, and exactly zero algorithms. If you ask him if he’s AI, he’ll probably just offer you a confused look and a cup of lukewarm coffee or a cigarette.
Al is an enigma. Depending on who you ask, the rumors surrounding him are as wild as they are entirely plausible. Here is everything we know (or think we know) about the man who lives just past the city limits.

The Legend of “Master God Daddy”

Yes, that’s a title floating around out there. Is it a self-appointed moniker? A name bestowed upon him by a very confused local bowling league? Nobody knows. But when you carry a presence like Al’s, you tend to attract some hefty nicknames.
There are also whispers that he was once a presidential candidate. You won’t find him in the history books, and his name wasn’t on any major debate stages, but if you listen to the locals, he ran a fierce write-in campaign from his smart phone in the last couple elections.

Going to the Dogs

Al’s backstory takes a few unconventional turns. Rumor has it he once lived entirely off the grid—and by “off the grid,” I mean he lived in an actual dog pound.

  • The theory: He didn’t work there; he just sort of… moved in with the hounds.
  • The result: He now possesses an uncanny ability to calm a barking stray with a single look. He’s practically part beagle at this point.

The Nomadic Caretaker

These days, Al operates on a highly unique housing-and-employment model. He takes care of a whole roster of employers. But he doesn’t just clock in and clock out—he practically adopts them.
Why? Well, the truth is, he’s got nowhere else to live.
Instead of renting an apartment, Al has become the ultimate live-in caretaker, drifting from employer to employer, fixing their cravings, throwing pizza parties and gracing their guest rooms with his presence. You never really know where he’s going to turn up next, but if you hire him, there’s a good chance he’s moving in.

Just a Simple Country Bumpkin

Despite the rumors of political aspirations and grand titles, Al prefers to keep things grounded. If you ask him to describe himself, he won’t give you a long-winded origin story.

“I’m just a country bumpkin.” — Al

And that’s exactly why he refuses to live in the concrete jungle. Al resides in that sweet spot right outside the city. He’s close enough to the city limits to borrow his employers’ Wi-Fi, but far enough out into the country to ensure his boots stay permanently caked in mud.
He’s definitely not artificial. He’s 100% natural, unfiltered, unapologetic Al.
