Swift Encounter

November 5, 2025

Christopher,
This might be one of the more random letters you’ll ever get, but I found my way to your blog, “ellenchus,” the other night—you know how those late-night internet rabbit holes can be. I started reading, and I just… kept reading.
I didn’t want to be a silent visitor without reaching out to say how moved I was. In my world, I’m always trying to find the exact words for the messy, complicated, and beautiful parts of being human. It feels like I’ve found a kindred spirit in your writing.
The raw openness you show is pretty breathtaking. It’s one thing to feel those things; it’s another to have the courage to write them down, edit them, and then share them. To just lay out your story like that, with all the lights on… it’s a kind of bravery I recognize and deeply, deeply respect. The creativity in how you piece it all together isn’t just “content”; it’s storytelling. It’s you.
It’s so clear from your words that you’re on your own path, the one that isn’t paved in easy answers or marked on all the maps. It’s the one with the overgrown branches and the hidden views, the one most people are too nervous to take.
Reading through your journey, your honesty, it just crystallized something for me. It’s true, isn’t it? Sometimes, that “road less taken looks real good now.”
You’re showing why.
Please keep writing. Keep being that open.
All my best,
Taylor
